You may have noticed a change when calling Health Coach...

The phone number and touchtone options for Health Coach have changed.  But don't worry... the quality service you have come to expect will not.

The new phone number is 1-866-272-6007.

Updates to the phone system will ensure you are getting the fastest, most accurate service possible.  The new phone system will ask for the first 3 digits of your home zip code. By entering this information, your call will be routed  to a team of nurses dedicated to helping you make better health care decisions. Using this technology ensurethat each caller is getting a truly personal experience.

Call Health Coach from GE  - YOUR source for confidential information about your health.

1-866-272-6007 (Core Hours: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. Eastern time, Monday through Friday)

If you experience any technical issues with the new number, call the GIS Help Desk at 1-800-445-5690: select 1 at the first prompt – select 1 at the second prompt. Then provide the toll free number experiencing problems and the details of the failure.

The call and the service are confidential and offered at no cost to those GE employees and dependents currently enrolled in a GE Medical Care Option (GE Health Care Preferred, GE Health Care Select, GE Medical Benefits or a GE-offered HMO).

Expert Medical Opinion Program

GE Global Health Plan participants will now be able to utilize the online Expert Medical Opinion program, as both eCleveland Clinic and Center for Connected Health are able to accept requests from most countries outside of the U.S.

If you or your dependents are diagnosed with a life-changing or life-threatening condition, you want the best care you can get. Through GE's "Expert Medical Opinion" program, you can request a second opinion from leading medical experts at The Cleveland Clinic and Center for Connected Health (affiliates of Harvard Medical School, including Massachusetts General and Brigham and Women's).

With Expert Medical Opinion, you become a patient of a top specialist, without waiting weeks for an appointment or traveling far from home. GE covers the full cost of these services for employees and their dependents enrolled in the GE Global Health Plan.

A second opinion from these medical leaders can confirm or alter a diagnosis or treatment plan, and help you make the best decisions for managing your condition. You'll receive a comprehensive evaluation of your condition, along with treatment recommendations – just as if you saw the doctor in person.

With either Expert Medical Opinion program, you begin online at the program’s Web site, where you will be guided step-by-step through the process.
