if you have a work related accident. It is important
that you document the date and time of the injury and make
sure that is reported at GE Medical. Fill out the

Hospitals Reap Huge Profits from the
Ohio Workers' Comp System
An analysis
of Ohio workers' comp billing records by Care for Ohio,

Are
hospitals truly charitable institutions or just big
businesses that don't pay taxes?
Ohio's non-profit hospitals receive special tax breaks
that add up to nearly a billion dollars a year. But
what are Ohio's taxpayers getting in return?
Read about it in "Crossing

If you are off of work due to an injury,
please read the letter below. Note that the highlighted areas will
be filled in when you receive this letter. Make sure that all time is
covered by your doctor. If that time is not accounted for, then in all
likelihood you will not be paid for that time. If you have any questions
about this letter, contact a Work Comp Rep! It may make your return to
work a bit less traumatic!.......
Return
to Work Guidelines Letter (Revised
1/04)......
We have had
hard working employees go off on short term absences and
when they come back eager to work, they have had a difficult
time getting through the GE personnel departmental
manager. He seems to think that if the above form is
not perfectly filled out, then the employee has no rights to
return to work, even if the doctor has all of the
information on separate forms. There is a meeting with
management soon to fix this problem. Should not the
personnel manager help the employee instead of being rude
and uncooperative?
This IAM Union believes so!
